Pu'u Ualaka'a State Park

There were great climbing trees there, which the girls thoroughly enjoyed, and I enjoyed photographing them in the trees too.

On the drive down there's a tree swing on the side of the road, thought it was a nice place to stop for some swinging.

Pu'u Ualaka'a Hike

This hike was in Ualaka'a State Park, very nice state park. The hike was 1.7 mile into the forest. Lots of eucalyptus! What a great smell that is! There is a great overlook of Honolulu, Waikiki, and Diamond Head both on the trail and at the picnic area of the park. I took tons of photos so I'll post 1/2 today & 1/2 tomorrow. This 1st photo is along the road on the way up to the park.

The girls love playing in the roots of all the trees. They like to say, "Mommy/Daddy put me in the cage." Then we were suppose to chase them, catch them, & "put them in the cage" of the tree roots.

So many cool tress on this hike.

Misc

I just love the way they're looking at each other here.

Grandma, your book is used more for making "a house" then it is for reading.

Roseola

Sick baby girl spent 3 days laying on the couch with 102 & 103 temp.

So confirmed she has roseola. Not sure if you can see the rash all over her body.

808 Equine

808 Equine is a horse rescue ranch. Some very sad stories about what abuse & neglect some of these horses suffered. On the bright side they are now very well cared for. Most are adopted, but sometimes a few are kept on the ranch forever. Our MOMs club group did it for a field trip. The girls are on the top right, Rylie not looking happy since she hates all animals.

As I took this photo I asked Rylie if she wanted to ride a horse too. Her look says it all.

The did have some other animals there too.

Chinese food with the Kisses

Last minute invitation to eat Chinese with friends.

Sienna decided she likes the Chinese tea a lot. Now she want me to buy some "kid's tea" for her.

Most photos are of the kids, not the things to see since we've been there like 6 times I didn't need more photos of the same things. Here the kids are mobbing the teachers for fish food.
