Christmas activities

The Honolulu Hale had tons of decorations and activities. Train ride for kids, face painting, games, and inside were lots of themed Christmas tress & wreaths. We enjoyed this while we waited for our firetruck ride to see the city Christmas lights.

Two old time fire trucks take you on a ride through downtown Honolulu to look at all the lights. The kids really enjoyed this.

A couple of our Christmas activities

Cookie decorating: FYI paintbrushes work great for the kids to put frosting on the cookies.

Sienna & Daddy were making a gingerbread house for her Chinese class, so to keep Rylie busy I gave her a container of buttons & had her sort them by color.

Sienna's Christmas Program

Before heading to Sienna's school. Rylie wanted her picture too.

Our little gospel singer......she's really into this song.

Random

Coloring page I had Sienna do while I was explaining the advent wreath to her, Rylie was refusing to color that day.

Watching a Christmas movie.
Sienna's artwork was one chosen to hang in the city hall for the month of December.

This was the Pilgrim hat she made back at Thanksgiving.

Disney Aulani Resort

This was taken by the photographer's assistant at the resort....not so good.

Sienna getting Minnie

Aunty was teaching a Hawaiian hello song. She told Sienna how impressed she was with how quickly she learned the song and how well she pronounced the Hawaiian words. What Sienna didn't tell her was that its the same Hawaiian hello song she's been singing at Field Trip Friends every week for almost a year.

Minnie gave them instruments and they paraded around the restaurant.

Great kids water area, also water slides, several pools, lazy river, beach of course, and aquarium.

Welcome Home

So loud and so many people it was really hard to get a good video of the moment.

Finally photos from Paul's homecoming.

Sienna was very excited and did great with Paul returning, Rylie needed a little more time. She didn't really cry or act afraid, but she kept looking him up and down. Guess the Daddy on Skype looks much bigger in real life :) She mostly had trouble with Daddy doing "care" things for her like changing diaper, giving bath, brushing teeth, or even strapping her in the car seat. When Paul would try to do any of these things Rylie would yell, "No! No! Neber! Neber! My mommy do it toever!" Wish I got it on video cause it was kinda cute to here her yell that even though I was thinking - poor Paul.
