2 yr & 4 yr photos with their bears.

These are a little late, but can't stop the yearly tradition. Can't believe these bears "held" the girls at 3 months and Sienna's bigger bear held her at 6 months.

This is what I found one night before we started duct taping the diaper and made the changing table into a dresser. This was so frequent I was afraid she'd end up falling off. Somehow I got lucky enough that she never peed on the table.

I love you to pieces.

Sienna just asked me if I loved her to pieces. I said yes and then she proceeded to give me 2 pieces of her M&Ms and said, "That's 2 pieces Mom, I love you 2 pieces too."

You forgot what?

When I picked Sienna up from school today she informed me that she had forgot to put her panties on today. I guess I need to start checking my kid better in the morning.

Living Art Marine Center

One thing the girls got to to here was Gyotaku fish printing. Gyotaku is Japanese from gyo "fish" & taku "rubbing". Gyotaku is a traditional form of Japanese fish printing, dating from the mid-19th century used by fishermen to record their catches. The best way to do gyotaku is when a person places the fish on a wooden bench and paints one side with sumi ink. Here the kids used fish made from seashells instead of a real fish and acrylic paint instead of sumi ink.

Choosing which type of fish she wants.

Their Gyotaku fish print T-shirts.

Checking out the hermit crabs.

Sienna really loved being able to "pet" all the different marine life.

What size is it?

I must talk about the kids clothes sizes often & when I do I usually say 2T or 4T. Well now when Sienna wants to know the size of an article of clothing she asks, "What T is it?" I know what she means, but when we're in a store the clerks always look at her with a very confused look.

Spaghetti face & Coconut painting.

Everyone has to have a photo of themselves with the spaghetti face.

The girls painted coconuts. There were so many bright beautiful colors & both my girls chose black, gold, & white???? You can barely tell they painted it.

Pooh Obsession

Ever since seeing the Winnie the Pooh movie Rylie has become obsessed with Pooh & "Pigget". So we had just a few Huggies diapers, which we don't usually use. They have Pooh on them. When we used them up boy was Rylie upset! Haven't seen her cry that hard for awhile & she didn't seem to understand that they are all gone & I can't just produce one for her. Finally I remembered we had a box of wipes with Pooh on them, so I got her to calm down by telling her I could still wipe her with Pooh.

About 10 minutes later she came up to me & said, "Mommy Pooh biper (diaper), buy me, K?"

Random stuff.

New activity for Sienna.....practice hammering nails.

Rylie so loves these Mardi Gras beads. I kept telling her to smile and this is what she gave me. It looks evil.

Sienna was just so tired. She was waiting for me while I put Rylie to bed so we could read some stories. Sienna was out cold by the time I finished with Rylie.

No "Silver belt", a "Hello Kitty belt"

When I had to duct tape Sienna's diaper she got the regular silver tape, I happen to run across Hello Kitty duct tape so Rylie got a little cuter duct tape on her diaper.

The girls decorated their own purses with fabric paint, glue, & ribbon.

Aunt Jenny & Uncle Garnett's Hula Debut!

I ran out of space on the camera so I didn't get the entire hula.

Another field trip.

The girls are learning how the ancient Hawaiians placed the stones when they built a temple. And I just noticed the girl next to Sienna is picking her nose :)

Ruins from an ancient Hawaiian temple.

The water is from a natural spring that flowed from under the temple.
