Field Trip Friends is a group headed by an ex-teacher, who now sets up field trips for kids to different places around the island. On this day we visited Kualoa Ranch.

Hudbond & Pssss
Sienna drew a picture of herself with a head band on (she's really been into wearing a head band recently). Anyway above the picture she wrote: Sienna Hudbond. I was impressed that she even attempted to spell the word head band and also am excited to have that 1st written thing with a misspelled word.
Rylie has been extremely interested in the potty for the past couple weeks. She takes her diaper off as soon as she pees & then runs to sit on the potty. The past few days I've been setting her on the potty right when she wakes and every 90 min all day to get her to do this in the right order. However, she can sit there for up to 20 min while I read or sing to her and has never went on the potty & then as soon as I put the diaper back on her she goes pee & then says "pee pee potty" and takes the diaper off and runs to sit on the potty.
Tonight when after 20 min she still hadn't gone I said, "Rylie we gotta start getting you to go pee on the potty, I really want to hear you pee in the potty." And Rylie said, "Psssssssss. Pee pee go out Mommy."

Sleeping Beauties
More often than not this is what I find at night when I check on the kids before I go to bed. I think when Paul gets back we need to convert Rylie's toddler bed to the double & remove Sienna's single. It'd give them more room in their room and they seem to prefer snuggling. It's so sweet I've caught Sienna rubbing Rylie's face or hands & wrapping her arms around her. She's such a sweet big sister.

Sienna's 1st Day of School
Sienna calls this her butterfly shirt because of the sleeves.
The butterfly shirt reminds me......the other night I was teaching Sienna that saying, "Star light, star bring, first star I see tonight......." And we were talking about how people would wish on a star. So she decided to wish on a star for wings like a fairy. Then next morning she was trying to remember how "Star light, star bright" went & right in the middle of her trying to say it she paused and then said, "Hey! How come I don't have wings?!"

Fair Oaks Farms
Although we couldn't take photos of the calf being born, it was the highlight of the day for Sienna. However, it did elicit a lot of questions: "Mommy did that hurt the baby?" "Did it hurt the Mommy?" "Why is the baby all wet?" "Why did the baby come out the Mommy's butt?" "Was I all wet like that when I was borned?" "Did it hurt me when I was borned?" "Did it hurt you Mommy?"
